The aim of this guide is to provide a first introduction
to biblical, theological and contextual hermeneutics.
Hermeneutics is the subject that analyses the process
of interpretation. One could say that hermeneutics
is the theoretical study of interpretation. As a
first introduction it is primarily aimed at first-year
students, but church groups may also find it useful.
